Spreading Community Accelerators through 
Learning and Evaluation

 

 

Sitka was chosen as a Pace Setter Community by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to develop and expand the community's capacity to address health concerns. The Sitka Health Summit will use SCALE to work accross sectors to address address health needs, improve equity, and make positive and lasting changes in Sitka.

 

 

   What you can expect from this process
  • A completed community health assessment that will compiled in conjunction with the MAPP project. The community health assesment will determine Sitka's health priorities and the resources needed to address them.

  • A plan to improve the health of the community that will have results that can be measured and evaluated.

  • Increased skills and capacity among community members to evaluate health needs, implement change, gather data, and determine the effect of the change.

  • A healthier Sitka.
